Nena, a short film inspired by a true story follows the evolution of a young woman (played by Michelle Fuentes) as she encounters abuse in many different forms and searches for a pathway towards a new beginning. As a child Nena (played by Mylena Barrios) is stripped of something that will create a change in who she is forever. Although she hides these memories away in the back of her mind they some how seem to catch up to her as a woman, bringing her face to face with the harsh realities of life. The film is intended to raise awareness in the community with respect to sexual child abuse and domestic violence, potentially creating a new platform for all victims to come forward and seek support. 

Today, Christi runs LaBellePresents a Miami-based Production Company specializing in Producing innovative and impactful digital content. Our diverse team of creatives approach each project with passion from conception and take pride in collaborating with our clients in executing high-quality visual marketing campaigns, commercials, television segments, music videos, documentaries, and live event coverage.

Christi was chosen as a Viophilia gallery resident for her experimental works in video and art. Her group show exhibited the her photography artworks in collaboration with street artist and fashion designer FujiMoto. Her vision is truly unique, Her photography takes the viewer on a journey exploring femininity and power. Christi, documentary works also explore harsh realities of life. We were more impressed by her documentary photography in Cuba. A behind the scenes look at daily life in Cuba conjures up emotions between political interpretations of the island and paradise. We are honored to have Christi as part of Viophilia Gallery, her works will be exhibited in 2015.
